Vegetable Risotto can be made in a lit Cooking Pot, and requires specific ingredients to make, listed below.
In order to make regular Vegetable Risotto, Hylian Rice, Goat Butter and Rock Salt must be cooked together with at least one from Swift Carrot, Endura Carrot, or Fortified Pumpkin a combination of vegetables which does not include carrot or pumpkin will make a version of Veggie Rice Balls instead. are required ingredients. If only one of the three required vegetables is used, Link will create a variety of the Vegetable Risotto with a beneficial effect - Hasty Vegetable Risotto if a Swift Carrot is used, Enduring Vegetable Risotto if Endura Carrot is used, and Tough Vegetable Risotto if Fortified Pumpkin is used.
In order to make standard Vegetable Risotto, Link will need to add a fifth ingredient that is from a plant and has a conflicting enhancement. If there is a Swift Carrot, which usually adds the Hasty effect, and Link adds a Cool Safflina, which usually adds Cold Resistance, the two enhancements will negate one another and Link will create basic Vegetable Risotto. There is no benefit to cancelling out effects like this.
Using Razorclaw Crab, Ironshell Crab or Bright-Eyed Crab in addition to carrot or pumpkin will change the recipe to a version of Crab Risotto. No other valid food ingredient overrides the recipe name.
