Bongo Bongo

Bongo Bongo is the boss of the Shadow Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It is a huge evil spirit that can go invisible if it wishes. Its hands are separated from its arms, and it doesn't seem to have a head, but some sort of giant red eye at the end of the neck. Other than that, it is somewhat human in appearance.

Bongo Bongo used to live in the Bottom of the Well where Impa sealed it, but later in the game, he escapes. No one is able to do anything about the invisible spirit, and after causing some fires in Kakariko Village, it goes to the Shadow Temple.

The Battle

The battle takes place on an extremely large bongo drum (hence the name Bongo Bongo) deep below the Shadow Temple. All but its hands go invisible, so Link is unable to hit its eye. After shooting both hands with Arrows, Bongo Bongo will dash towards Link. If Link shoots between the hands, where its invisible body is, than it will stun him and turn him visible. If the player wants to see the boss, just pulling out the Lens of Truth will reveal him. Link can then go up and slash him with his sword. Doing this about three times will kill him. A Heart Container will appear where the boss died, and Link can return to the surface of the Graveyard.
