Unless a new Four Swords is in the works or something like it, a new multiplayer Zelda seems out of the question.
+The zelda game coming for the 3DS is going to be released in holiday 2013 on the 3DS eshop. it is going to be a sequel of a link to the past. this game will use the same world and art style as the classic A Link to the Past, but it will be a wholly new game on the 3DS. it will have a new feature- link's ability to turn himself into a drawing and move along walls in a 2D style of movement.
