Fire Rod: Difference between revisions

The Fire Rod is obtained in a [[Treasure Chest]] in the [[Skull Woods (A Link to the Past)|Skull Woods]].{{Ref|[[Nintendo Power A Link to the Past Four Swords Strategy Guide|Nintendo Power Player's Guide]]|Link opens the Big Chest in the Skull Palace to find the Fire Rod. This weapons uses quite a bit of Magic Power.}} This rod spits out a ball of fire that sears most enemies to a crisp.{{Ref|Nintendo Power Player's Guide|Fire Rod<br/>The Fire Rod is one of the most powerful weapons Link will have in his arsenal. Flames jump from the end of the rod and will burn most enemies.}} Some enemies like [[Gibdo]]s are especially vulnerable to fire, so use the Fire Rod wisely.{{Ref|Nintendo Power Player's Guide|The Fire Rod works especially well on Gibdos because the cloth which they are wrapped in is extremely flammable.}} The Fire Rod can also be used like the [[Lamp]] to light torches, but from a distance only. It is needed to enter the main part of the Skull Woods dungeon.{{Ref|Nintendo Power Player's Guide|To proceed further into Skull Palace, Link needs to use the Fire Rod.}} This item is also used for defeating [[Trinexx]] in [[Turtle Rock (A Link to the Past)|Turtle Rock]].
