The '''Deku Tree Sprout''' is the baby form of the [[Great Deku Tree]]. He appears after [[Link]] defeats [[Phantom Ganon (Ocarina of Time)|Phantom Ganon]] in the [[Forest Temple (Ocarina of Time)|Forest Temple]] and awakens [[Saria]] as the Forest Sage.{{Ref|OoT|851|Deku Tree Sprout}} He was unable to grow before this due to [[Ganon|Ganondorf]]'s evil reign over Hyrule corrupting the [[Kokiri Forest]], spawning enemies in the sacred Forest.
