Along the trail is the entrance to [[Dodongo's Cavern]], which is made accessible by throwing a [[Bomb Flower]] from higher up on the trail at the boulder blocking the way. There is also a [[Piece of Heart]] atop the entrance to [[Dodongo's Cavern]] that can be collected either by backflipping from a higher point of the trail or by planting a [[Magic Bean]] at the base. After obtaining the [[Bomb Bag]] from [[Dodongo's Cavern]], [[Link]] can destroy rocks on the side of the path exposing alcoves with hidden treasures inside them. There are many [[Goron]]s along the trail along with some [[Tektite]]s.
