This game can be extremely difficult. You have to hit A to start a timer, then again at exactly 10 seconds. If you pull it off, he will give you a [[Piece of Heart]].  
In north [[Termina Field]], there is a hole beneath one of the mushroom-shaped structures in the snow-filled region.


What makes this so difficult is that not only do you have to stop the timer on exactly 10 seconds, but the timer will disappear from the screen after the first couple of seconds. However, if you wear the [[Bunny Hood]] while playing the game, the timer will not vanish making it much easier to succeed.
Inside, there are two [[Dodongo]]s. They take quite a beating to kill, especially with your lack of decent weaponry early on. Use [[Bomb]]s to defeat these enemies. Defeat them to receive a [[Piece of Heart]].
