The warm waters allow for rare Sizzlefin Trout to swim around. Additionally there are some other warm-weather bugs around, including Fireproof Lizards, Warm Darners, and Summerwing Butterflies.

At the far northeast end of the lake, Broca Island sits in the middle of the lake. This small island has a Korok Seed puzzle requiring the use of Magnesis. Just south of the island, on the much higher elevation above the Lake, there is an enemy Bokoblin camp. There is a treasure chest at the top of the base that contains a Claymore weapon.

Lake Intenoch is a lake found just north of the Foothill Stable. It spans from the Maw of Death Mountain to Broca Island to the northeast. The lake itself is a Hot Spring which will restore Link's health when he is partially submerged in the lake. The warm temperatures of the water make it one of the rare locations where Sizzlefin Trout can be found swimming.

Just northwest of the lake, higher up on the lake, south of Gero Pond, there is an enemy base with three Blue Bokoblin and a Fire-Breath Lizalfos. The base here has a chest with five Arrows. Just southwest, on the other side of the rock, there are some Zonai Ruins with a chest on top, containing three Rockets. One more chest can be found atop the Zonai Ruins west of Lake Intenoch, which contain three Zonaite.
