Multiple Yiga Spies were sent to live in Kakariko Village to try and uncover the location of [[Link]]. One spy, [[Dorian]], met and married a local Sheikah woman, having two daughters with her. To keep him in check, the Yiga Clan executed his wife, threatening that Impa, Paya and his children would be next if he did not comply. As such, upon Link's first meeting with Impa, [[Yiga Footsoldier]]s begin to appear in disguise around Hyrule, having been tipped off by the agents in Kakariko.

Later on, a [[Yiga Blademaster]] steals the [[Sheikah Heirloom]] to draw out Dorian, his usefulness having come to an end. This assassination attempt was thwarted by Link, who then learns about Dorian's antagonistic past. From that point, Dorian decides to fully swear his allegiance to the Sheikah Tribe.

It isn't known which other Kakariko Villagers are spies of the Yiga, though the villagers are wary of them. [[Olkin]] jokingly suggested that Link was one on their first visit, and the villagers are distrustful of Pikango, who had not lived in Kakariko for many decades. Ultimately, however, all save Dorian remain unidentified.
