Ancient Tablet: Difference between revisions

The '''Ancient Tablet''' is an item from ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|Skyward Sword]]''. It is comprised of three fragments: [[Emerald Tablet|Emerald]], [[Ruby Tablet|Ruby]], and [[Amber Tablet|Amber]].{{Ref|SS|791|Gear Screen Description}} It is kept [[Inside the Statue of the Goddess]] on an altar that is revealed after [[Link (Skyward Sword)|Link]] hits a [[Goddess Crest]] with a [[Skyward Strike]]. The full tablet resembles a map of the [[Surface]], and each fragment corresponds with a certain region. When a fragment is placed in the altar, it creates a pillar of light that cuts through the cloud barrier, creating a path to the Surface from [[The Sky]].{{Ref|SS|4804|Fi}}{{Ref|SS|4808|Fi}}

The Emerald Tablet is given to Link by [[Fi]] once he obtains the [[Goddess Sword]] within the [[Statue of the Goddess]]. It creates a path to the [[Faron Province]].{{Ref|SS|789|In-Game Description}}

The Ruby Tablet is found within [[Skyview Spring]]. After Fi deciphers a message from the [[Hylia|Goddess]], it appears in a burst of light in front of the [[Goddess Statue]]. Fi suggests that Link takes it back to the main Statue of the Goddess in [[Skyloft]], which in turn opens up a path to [[Eldin Province]].{{Ref|SS|1491|Fi}}

The Amber Tablet is located in the [[Earth Spring]]. Like the Ruby Tablet, it only appears after Fi explains that [[Zelda (Skyward Sword)|Zelda]] has departed for the [[Lanayru Desert]].
