Sooga fights the hollow, ordering Kohga to run, but Kohga refuses, calling Sooga his best lackey and continuing to fight, with Sooga offering to protect Kohga with his life. It is implied Sooga sacrificed himself for Kohga to escape as this is the last we see of him, though we do not see his death nor is it ever outright stated.
