Just posting a link because the actual thing stretches the screen. Credit goes to Anubis for all the effort he put into this to get it to my exact description.
I don't think I've ever seen a person call it "bad". it's just different, what with the side view and the heavy RPG elements. It is without a doubt the most unique of the series (CD-i games aside, of course).
If I had to narrow it down it would be: Sheik's Theme, The Song of Time and Gerudo Valley.
By the way, if anyone knows where I can get some MP3s for those that'd be nice.
He was subtly telling the other companies to get some originality up them. I don't think this implies in any way that there will ever be a Zelda game for any non-Nintendo console, just as well too.
Hardness of core is determined by ones playing habits (eg. playing for hours on end). By that logic, any game can be hardcore depending on how one plays it. You can have a hardcore Tetris player who shoots for the world record or a casual Tetris player who plays for 20 minutes a day on the...
I learned that HE IS ERROR.
I learned never to hire a Zora architect.
I learned that if you have a triangle on your hand you can see the future, survive heinous stab wounds and lift things that are supposedly 1 mega tonne.
I learned that when you figure out a song your musical instrument...
A Classic/Gamecube controller option would be nice but I can't see how that could be put in. I would play standing up if need be, but it would drastically affect the duration of playing sessions. Not a deal-breaker but I would have to change the way I play accordingly.
Terminans aren't a different race. They're Hylians that live in Termina.
The winner would really depend on the circumstances of the war. Where are the battles held? Which race strikes first? At what stage of development are we placing the races? Would the humans stand any better chance than the...
Can someone please make me a wallpaper of that pose that Ganondorf makes in TP when he's sitting in the throne with a look of mere boredom on his face and have a heading saying "Welcome to my castle."
Nothing too difficult I hope.
I don't know Jacques about game making but I do have a lot of good ideas so I would like to be a project advisor so I could direct the team on what to do. My first project would be the portable Super Smash Bros. (a game concept very close to my heart). I would want to be there to make sure they...
Darknuts from TP and Dark Link from OoT are my favourite boss fights. I like the strategy and difficulty of it. I particularly like taking on 3 Darknuts simultaneously.
I'd like to see a balance of size and density. I would like the personality of Minish Cap's environments mixed with the size and variation of Twilight Princess' environments. Maybe having lots more NPCs walking around a town but an empty desert just to make you feel each individual setting for...
My guess is that it's a game about a really small country that was created by three random golden people and the laws of science don't apply. In all seriousness though, I don't think Nintendo is host to a pack of biologists so they wouldn't have known.
Link's Crossbow Training wasn't really rare. It was bundled in with the Wii Zapper and I have it in my lounge room right now. It cost, like, $50 AUD.
Some of these are really rare, in that they were never released (Ura Zelda and Mystical Seed of Courage).
I borrowed TP and finished it and hadn't thought of it for about 9 months and now I've been seeing a bunch of TP reminiscing threads and now I want more than anything to be able to play TP again.
"I AM ERROR"
I hear it in a robotic voice and just crack up laughing. He's just standing there in his possession-less house with a blank look on his face and says that trainwreck of a greeting.
Spirit tracks has the least relevance to any of the other Zelda games. As I understand it, Link and Tetra sailed away from the Great Sea and found a new continent on which they settled.
OOOOO! I KNOW! How about, when you've finished the game you can play a "Boss Battle" mode in which you fight every boss/miniboss in succession with a healing room in between. It could have an online leaderboard and you compete for the best time.
It can't be Ganondorf. He doesn't exist yet. I think it will be some completely new guy. Let's see...
Badguy checklist:
Dark wizard formerly thief? check
Dark wizard formerly tiny guy? check
Evil demon trapped inside a mask? check
Giant fish's nightmare? check
Evil spirit locked in a...
Wow. This is the most sensible timeline I have ever seen. I see no significant holes and it adds up. That said, I'm not going to go around confirming it yet.
So long as you know that this isn't the official timeline, I'm fine with you experimenting with different timelines. I admire your creativity, by the way.
So, just to clarify; You are making a timeline even though you know that it's not the one that the developers have.
You want to get a timeline that works as opposed to the official timeline. Am I correct in thinking this?
To be frank, there is so much wrong with that. It goes against about a billion developer statements (not to mention generally accepted fact). I'm not going to point out everything that was wrong with that, but it's wrong.
Something to keep you occupied after you've done all the quests/side quests. After you finish most Zelda games it just becomes dead. I want some kind of...something. Anything to keep the game alive after you've finished it. Multiplayer maybe?
Are you talking about those slash marks on that big tree? I was wondering about that earlier today, and I agree that Nintendo probably had something planned for it but they ditched. Maybe that tree was going to have a bigger role.
True, which is why no one knows if they've got it yet. I'm just saying that you have a higher probability of getting it right if you stick with the facts. Take note of how I have never made an attempt to post a hypothesised timeline. Assumptions and opinions can be misleading.
I liked PH and ST. Both made excellent use of the DS's features without drawing the line of, as a Sony fanboy would say, "gimmicky". The vehicle systems are very good but the ST vehicle system does cover the fact that there are not a heap of locations. I found the stylus controls quite...
The 3DS is at least 50% more powerful than the PSP. Add this to the fact that it's a Nintendo console, which guarantees that it will deliver the best games of the 8th generation (show us what you've got Sony!), oh and there was something else about it....um....I think it had some kind of visual...
A large amount of this is based on opinion which, as you know, should not be brought in as evidence. There is just as much (if not more) reason for MC to be pre-split as there is for it to be AT.
Also
That.
Not trying to sound like a tough guy, but the only things that scared me were the re-deads and that was 5 years ago. The only thing I still find disturbing is the moon in MM. That menacing face and the thought that with every second it was getting closer.
The biggest problem is losing track of the dungeon. There's usually no problem if you do it all in one go or quit at the right time. If you're going to save and quit then you should do it after completing a specific section.
