Great! well basically Miyazaki is one of my favorite Directors and i could guess some people might like him, so hey, why not.

I'm a huge key fan I love Clannad and Clannad after story, I loved angel Beats, and I'm currently watching air and thouroly enjoying it.

You might be right on that. I thought that the anime for Umineko was good but some others just don't think that. Well there were some scenes they toned down a bit like the one when Rosa is attacking the goat demon things and she attacked them with a fountain pin and stabbed them in the eye. But I could understand why they didn't show that, heck I'm not sure if I wanted to see that. And there is that one with Virgilia and Beatrice fight scene. They toned down that scene quite a bit but I can see them doing that to save in some more time. Overall I can see why Deen toned down some scenes but some others just cant open their eyes to realize that. Hmmm I need another series to watch after Umineko, but I don't see them finishing the anime till another year or so. I guess I can try Ryukishi's other work Higanbana no Saku Yoru Ni but that just started and their only on chapter nine and out of those chapters only 4 have been translated.

It's unfortunate that some anime which isn't that great receives tons of advertising, and some which are good don't. Fortunately there are also cases of the reverse though, quality anime that's also popular. I wish Spiral had been more successful though, because then perhaps they would have also continued it in addition to more people knowing about it.

I guess that's how it is sometimes in other media too, lots of quality titles aren’t as well known as it seems they should be. There are some with cult followings, but they still aren't heard of as much in the mainstream. Obviously personal taste accounts for it sometimes, but it still seems like some things would appeal to more people if only they'd been exposed to it.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, my friends just started watching those. I will watch them but I have some others to complete first. Clannad spoke to my heart a lot, I love the music from it too. :3

And yeah, Malon and Link seemed to have insignificant encounters, so that doesn't really count. And Ruto's definitely one-sided. I don't think Link wanted to marry at his age anyway...

Link just spends much more time with Zelda/Tetra/whatever than any of the other girl in the series. Plus it's Zelda's legend, not Malon's or Ruto's or Saria's

I might cosplay as him when I get the chance but that would be my first cosplay. I do think Witch Hunt has a link to their website to a onlineshop that you can buy the sound novels from. Its been so long since I watched higurashi, which is strange that no one really complains about the higurashi anime when compared to the sound novel. If they did complain then I don't remember that, well got EP1 and EP2 of the higurashi Sound novel on my ipod so if they do add the sound novels from umineko then maybe I could read EP8.

Oh, making soup would be fun, that soup looked like it was going to be really yummy in the game. A random thought occurred to me: I wonder if the Snowpeak Ruins would make a good ski resort? Though I guess it probably wouldn't pass any safety regulations. :xd:

It's very fun, especially if you experiment with different rules. ^^ You really get a feeling for what improves or ruins the game, and since they don't take too long it doesn't feel like wasted time if you implemented a rule that wasn't so good.

I think of the people I know who actually like anime, my cousins who introduced it to me are the only ones who've ever really heard of it, and they think it's good. It's strange that it never really became well known. I guess it just never got enough exposure when it was originally released or something.

Most anime that I watch has reached me by word of mouth, though I guess popularity has something to do with how well it was marketed, aside from how good the anime itself is, because I think Spiral has the whole quality aspect down.

Yep the VN is better then the anime and manga but I'm not those who hate on the anime nor the manga. Well its like with movies and books, they can't put everything from the book into the movie so they have to cut some stuff out. I could cosplay as one more character but hes from ep7. You said you don't want to be spoiled so I won't tell you his name or if you want to know I'll tell you. Too bad there are not as many awesome male characters as there are of females in the when they cry series. It is hard to find the Visual novels if you don't live in Japan. I found some on Ebay but hardly any were Buy Right Now and the others that you had to bet on would go way over price, heck some went over 100 dollars.
