The Zora is a recurring race of amphibians in The Legend of Zelda series. The majority of these creatures are tall, humanoid, and blue skinned. However, they can differ from game to game – even in the same game there are Zoras that look totally different from the others. King Zora XVI has a big and round body type, Queen Rutela has a mermaid look while Prince Ralis is very short and looks like a hybrid between a Zora and a Human.
The Zora is a recurring race of aquatic folk The Legend of Zelda series. There are two subspecies of Zora: River Zora and Sea Zora. Though named after their most frequented habitat, River Zora can be found in the sea and visa versa. Their main distinctions instead are their morphology and their temperament.

There are two subspecies of Zora: River Zoras and Sea Zoras. The River Zoras are the hostile monsters that Link fights. In some games, like A Link Between Worlds, not all of them are hostile. They pop out of the water and shoot fireballs at Link. The Sea Zoras are the kind and peaceful creatures that Link interacts with in games. The appearance of the two species differ as well: the River Zoras are usually green and have frills on their heads while the Sea Zoras are more humanoid, blue, have fins on their arms, and a fish tail on their heads. The names of the subspecies are not necessarily derived from their habitats; Sea Zoras can appear in rivers and River Zoras in the sea.
The River Zora are green with a dorsal fin running the length of their spine, and fins framing their face. They are generally hostile and can shoot fireballs, though a few are approachable and may even help Link.

The Sea Zora, on the other hand, are light blue with pectoral fins attached to the arms, and a dolphin-like peduncle and fluke jutting from the back of the head. They are generally peaceful.
