The '''Water of Life''' is an item that appears in Link's original two adventures on the [[Nintendo Entertainment System]].

The Water of Life is one of two [[Bottle]] items found in ''[[The Legend of Zelda]]''. This potion will restore [[Link|Link's]] health completely if he drinks it. The Life Potion can be bought from the [[Old Woman]] at any of the [[Potion Shop]]s across [[Hyrule]]. These shops will only open after Link has, firstly, collected the [[Letter]] from the [[Old Man]], and secondly he has shown the Letter to the Old Woman. From now on, Link can buy the Life Potion at these shops for the price of 40 [[Rupee]]s.
