Hey Locke, recently I noticed you placed a focus note on the goron mines page. I basically built that page and I am always trying to update it, and thus am always revisiting it. I dont understand what the focus note means. Appropriate page? Merging? Could you please shed some light on what you are trying to say to the editors of the page?

:Well, the biggest thing is that I don't think it's appropriate to have detailed boss strategies on the Dungeon page; those should go on the Boss's page.  I say "Focus" because the article should be focused on the dungeon itself.  Obviously the boss, mini-boss, items, etc. are part of the dungeon, but they should be described as they relate to the dungeon, and the specifics should be left to their respective pages (using the [[:Template:Main|Main template]]).  I've also noticed that some dungeon pages (besides the ones you've been working on) are becoming very walkthrough-ish, which also isn't appropriate (we have walkthroughs on the site).
:As another example, I don't think it's necessary to explain what a small key is for each dungeon - there's already a whole page for that.  I guess it might be okay to note how many there are, or anything unique about them (e.g. in OoT Fire Temple they're found by freeing Gorons), though I almost think it would be best to just list them, like the enemies.  So, in short, I'd like to cut down on repetitiveness.  If something is dealt with on another article, then only the relevant aspects should be touched upon. {{User:Locke/sig}} 16:23, March 4, 2012 (CST)
