[[File:Scncarnival.jpg|240px|thumb|right|Carnival of Time!]]Each year a festival is prepared in order to celebrate the [[Four Giants]], the alignment of the sun and the moon and the progress of time. It's called "The Carnival of Time", During the carnival it's normal to wear masks representing the giants. In the events of the game, Link enters at the time when the town is preparing for this celebration, which happens to be on the eve of the fourth day. However this is also the time the impending apocalypse from the falling of the moon is supposed to be occurring.  

The kingdom of Ikana is located to the eastern part of Termina, It was once  a place of violence. The canyon is haunted by the spirits of soldiers that fought in these wars, i.e [[Captain Keeta]] a commander of the many armies of [[Ikana]]  or the [[Garo Ninja]]s who once spied on the kingdom. And the cause of all of this was when somebody entered the [[Stone Tower]]; this was explained by [[Igos Du Ikana]], the last king of Ikana.  

'''Woodfall''' is the first region Link visits after leaving Clocktown and is home to the [[Deku Scrub]] tribe. When Link first visits the region it's waters have been poisoned due to the menacing work of the Skull Kidthus causing many problems. The main area surrounding Woodfall is the [[Southern Swamp]], this area contains the [[Swamp Tourist Center]], the [[Magic Hags' Potion Shop]] and the [[Woods of Mystery]]. After clearing the [[Big Octo]] a new section of the swamp is now accessible and this leads to the home of the Deku Scrubs, the [[Deku Palace]]. Further on in the swamp lies the similarly named [[Woodfall]], which is a giant Swamp filled crater that houses the [[Woodfall Temple]].
