Termina: Difference between revisions

The people of Termina seem to have no recollection of a royal family, and many traditions in Hyrule don't seem to be celebrated or recognized at all. No one in Termina mentions the Goddesses Nayru, Din, or Farore. Instead, the people of Termina seem to commemorate the Four Giants, presumably sent by the Goddesses to protect Termina, similar to the Great Deku Tree. There seems to be no Triforce, at least as of the present. which means there are no chosen wielders of the Triforce, making the world doomed, and unstable, even with the [[Four Giants]] help.

Each year a festival called the Carnival of Time is prepared in order to celebrate the [[Four Giants]] when the sun and moon are in alignment. During the Carnival, it is normal to wear masks that represent the Giants. In the events of the game, Link enters at the time when the Town is preparing for this celebration, which happens to be on the eve of the fourth day. However, this is also the time the impdending apocalypse from the falling of the Moon is supposed to be occurring.
