:The sword does not have any official name. As far as I know, Nintendo has never given it a name. The name "Double Helix Sword" is the most common fan name for the sword. Absent of an official name, we tend to go with the most commonly used fan name for article titles. I can't really say if it's a completely accurate name, it is however the standard fan name for the sword. Our only other option is formalizing an official wiki policy for things lacking any official name for Nintendo that would, for example, opt for the simplest possible name (such as Fierce Deity Link's Sword) rather than the most common fan name.
