The doorman informs him that the new recruit they'd been expecting would know to have gone to the three main Yiga branches to collect his uniform, so his simple Hylian appearance makes it clear he's nothing more than a fanboy. Link arriving in full Yiga attire will have him be taken in as the presumed new member, causing Mimos a great deal of jealousy. The actual identity of the intended new recruit is never expanded upon.
