The plants the beans create are used to find [[Piece of Heart|Pieces of Heart]], [[Gold Skulltula Token]]s, and shortcuts. Magic Beans can only be planted by Link as a child, but only as an adult can he use them, since it takes seven years for the plants to completely grow.

The other is a [[Business Scrub]] found in the [[Southern Swamp]].
