| The Library is a location that has been seen in four Legend of Zelda titles so far. In each of the games the library has a different, more specific name, except in A Link to the Past. For example, in Link's Awakening, the Library is called the Mabe Village Library, as it is situated in Mabe Village.

| ===A Link to the Past===
| |
| | |
| The Library featured in A Link to the Past is the only one that is not given a specific name in-game. It can be found in the area south of the Kakariko Village, but north of the Desert of Mystery. It really has only one real reason for existence; it is here that Link can find the Book of Mudora, the only book that can translate ancient Hylian text in something he can read. It can only be obtained after Link has completed the Eastern Palace, and obtained the Pegasus Boots from Sahasrahla. This is because the book is found on top of a bookshelf, and knocking it down requires Link to run at the shelf with the Boots equiped, thus making it fall to the ground.

| ===Link's Awakening===
| |
| Mabe Village Library
| |
| The Library featured in Link's Awakening is known as the Mabe Village Library, as it is found in Mabe Village in the southwestern area, just north of the Toronbo Shores and south of the Mysterious Woods. There are multiple readable books inside the library that Link can read. Most are tutorial-based books, and thus are useless to players that have played the game before. There is one book in the library that is of actual importance, and it is called Dark Secrets and Mysteries of Kohlint. It is written in very fine print, and thus Link will require the Magnifying Lens in order to read it. The Magnifying Lens can be obtained by completing the Trading Sequence found in the game. This book will tell Link how to navigate the Wind Fish's Egg.

| | |
| ===Oracle of Ages===
| |
| Eyeglass Island Library
| |
| The Library in Oracle of Ages is known as the Eyeglass Island Library, and is located on the Eyeglass Island.
| |
| | |
| ===The Minish Cap===
| |
| Royal Hyrule Library
| |
| The Library found in The Minish Cap in known as the Royal Hyrule Library. It is hear that Link will meet up with the Minish man Librai. He will give Link the Flippers if he successfully completes his trial.
