Lakebed Temple: Difference between revisions

The [[Boss]] of the Lakebed Temple is known as [[Morpheel|Twilit Aquatic: Morpheel]]. It is a large sea-serpent type enemy with scales as hard as rock for skin. As can be expected with [[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]] bosses, the weak spot is an eye that has a nice little spot on top of Morpheel's head. The battle takes place underwater, so wearing the [[Zora Armor]] is a must for this battle. The battle begins with most of Morpheel's body under the sand, with only its mouth exposed. It will move around its eye in its exposed tentacles, occasionally attempting to grab Link with a tentacle. Use the [[Clawshot]] to grab the eye and bring it towards Link so he can hit it with his sword. After three or four hits, Morpheel will change battle strategy. This time, it will expose its entire body to Link, all of it. It will swim around the area smashing into the pillars and trying to suck up Link. Swim above it and use Link's Clawshot to grab onto the eye on its head. Smash away at the eye as many times as Link can until Morpheel shacks him off. Repeat this and attack the eye with as many hits as possible. Eventually, ''Finish A'' will appear as Link is on Morpheel attacking the eye. Press the button to make Link finish off [[Morpheel]] with a stab directly to the pupil. Morpheel will swim around in a frenzy, and hit its head against one of the side walls. All the water in the area will exit through the whole [[Morpheel]] makes in the wall. Midna will collect the final [[Fused Shadow]], making Link's attempt to become as powerful as [[Zant]] a success. Grab the [[Heart Container]] and allow [[Midna]] to warp Link out of the area.
