+The Kokiri Forest is a small village in the forest south of [[Hyrule Field]]. It is inhabited by the [[Kokiri]] and their fairies. It is the home of [[Link (Ocarina of Time)|Link]] and hence why he is dressed in green. The Kokiri are not allowed to leave the forest, since they think they will die if they do so.

+Oddly enough, Kokiri are seen outside of the forest on a few occasions. There are six houses in the Kokiri Forest, Link's House, [[Mido]]'s House, The [[Kokiri Twins|Twins]]' House, [[Saria]]'s House, [[Know-It-All Brothers]]' House and the [[Kokiri Shop]]. There is a hidden area where Link gets the [[Kokiri Sword]], and to the southernmost point lies the [[Great Deku Tree's Meadow]].
