Joel is [[Zill]]’s older brother and [[Abe]] and [[Rose]]’s son. He lives on [[Outset Island]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker|The Wind Waker]]''. His favorite thing to do it jump, and is amazed at [[Link]]’s jumping abilities. He wants to grow up as fast as he can so he can be big enough to jump across big boulders. In the beginning of the game, he points the stick that he is holding across a few rocks in the small bit of ocean between the two little islands on Outset. He tells Link that he wants to jump across the rocks to get to the [[Rupees]] on the other side. If Link jumps across and get the Rupees, Joel will tell Link what a great jumper he is and gaze at him admirably. If Link brought Rose more than one pig in the beginning of the game, later when there is only one pig Joel and Zill admit to Link that their family ate them, but Rose denies it and quickly silences the boys. | |||
