The interlopers were once a group who created the darkest of magic. This dark magic was known in [[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess]] as the Fused Shadow. The Fused Shadow was created in order to take the holy relic known as the [[Triforce]]. When the interlopers attempted to take the Triforce, they were stopped by the [[Light Spirits]]. The Light Spirits intervened and banished them to the darkest of dimensions, the [[Twilight Realm]]. In Twilight Princess, you are told of this in the sense of a nightmare by one of the Light Spirits, [[Lanayru]]. It is expected that these interlopers appear in [[The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword]]. Since Lanayru is one of the 3 light spirits who intervened and told Link (Twilight Princess) the story, we might witness these interlopers in "[[Lanayru Desert]]."
