Great Fairy Fountains are locations found in multiple Zelda games.
Great Fairy Fountain
A Great Fairy Fountain is a reccuring location found in seven Zelda titles. They are places where Link can encounter a Great Fairy who can replenish his health and give him upgrades to certain items or even magic.

A Link to the Past
In this game the fountains are scattered across Hyrule in various caves, They restore Link's health. There are also special fountains called Mysterious Pond's where Link can get upgrades for weapons such as the Golden Sword or Magical Boomerang.

Ocarina of Time
The first fountan encountered in this installment of the series is on teh summit of Death Mountain as a child right after Link defeats the monster King Dodongo in Dodongo's Cavern. Link must play the Zelda's Lullabyon the Triforce marked pedestal in order to make the Great Fairy appear. If it's his first visit she'll grant him a new power, If it's a re-visit she'll replenish his health and Magic Meter

Majora's Mask
In this game Link must find Stray Fairies in order to summon the Great Fairy (Who are identical to the ones in Ocarina of Time). With the exception of the fairy in Clock Town who only had lost 2 Stray Fairies because of the Skull Kid. The benefits are much like the ones in Ocarina of Time, Link can get a new power on his first visit and a health & Magic Meter replenishment on his re-visits.

*North Clock Town
*Woodfall - As a Deku Scrub Link must fly to the cave on the far side of the temple.

*Ikana Canyon - Is located right next tot he entrance to Stone Tower.

The Wind Waker
The fountains are scattered throughout the Great Sea (Exception being the fairy on Outset Island who is beneath a boulder). They are usually located in Sea-shell like houses and grant Link upgrades to various items but instead of restoring his health and Magic Meter they leave behind lots of normal Fairies that can be caught in a bottle or just used as a replenishment to health and Magic.
