The Mini-Boss of the Forest Temple is known as Ook, the boss or leader of the monkeys. The battle against Ook is a fairly easy one. He will use the Gale Boomerang to release Baba Serpents that were hanging from the ceiling. They can get fairly annoying throughout the fight, but luckily they can be killed in one hit. Ook's strategy in this battle will be to jump from pillar to pillar, occasionally throwing the Gale Boomerang at Link. When he stops to throw the boomerang, it is Link's chance to get him off of it. If Link rolls into the pillar Ook is on, he will tumble down giving Link a chance to attack. After a decent amount of hits, Ook will faint and a spider-like being will jump off his back and die. Ook will then appear to be very confused as to his surroundings, and once he sees Link he will proceed to exit the room and leave behind the Gale Boomerang for Link to collect. With the Gale Boomerang in hand, Link can travel even further into the dungeon as he continues his search for a part of the Fused Shadow.
The Mini-Boss of the Forest Temple is known as Ook, leader of the monkeys. Gaining access to the Mini-Boss room require Link to free three monkeys and use them to swing over the large gap between the main dungeon and the chamber where Ook lies. There was previously a bridge spanning across the gap, but Ook cut it off with the Gale Boomerang. After Link has defeated Ook, he will appear to be very confused as to his surroundings, and once he sees Link he will proceed to exit the room and leave behind the Gale Boomerang for Link to collect. With the Gale Boomerang in hand, Link can travel even further into the dungeon as he continues his search for a part of the Fused Shadow.

The Boss of the Forest Temple is known as Twilit Parasite: Diababa. It is a fairly easy boss, whom can be defeated by using the Gale Boomerang to send Bomblings into its face and then slashing its eye with Link's sword. Ook actually comes back and helps Link with this battle by holding Bomblings for Link to lock onto with his boomerang after Diababa had destroyed the ones surrounding the area. After Link defeats it, Diababa will explode into a million tiny black spots. These spots will come together to form the first piece of the Fused Shadow.
The Boss of the Forest Temple is known as Twilit Parasite: Diababa. This parasite version of the standard Deku Baba is a corruption caused by the powerful Fused Shadows. Diababa can be defeated using a combination of Bombling attacks and Sword attacks. Ook will actually assist Link in this battle by providing Link with Bombling after Diababa had destroyed the ones in the area. After Link has performed an Ending Blow on Diababa, it will explode into a million tiny black spots. These spots will come together to form the first piece of the Fused Shadows. Midna will tell Link that this is what she has been looking for, and urges him to continue in search of the rest.
