The Beamos are a type of mechanical enemy that appear throughout the game, They are usually used as a security system in dungeons and spin around controlling a certain territory. They shoot beams at Link if they spot him (Thus why they are called ''Beamos'') and the only way to dispose of them in some games are Link's Arrows. They will make a return in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword|Skyward Sword]]'', this time looking more futuristic and mechanical than before.
