After Link finds the [[Ocarina]] in the [[Dream Shrine]], Marin will teach him the song. Later, Link and Marin both go to [[Animal Village]] to awaken the [[Walrus]] blocking the path to [[Yarna Desert]] with this song. Marin then stays in the village to sing the Ballad of the Wind Fish to all of the animals there.
