The '''Ball and Chain''' is an item in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess|Twilight Princess]]''.

The Ball and Chain is required to defeat certain enemies such as [[Freezard]]s, [[Mini-Freezard]]s and the boss of the [[Snowpeak Ruins]], [[Blizzeta]]. It also makes defeating [[Chilfos]] much easier. There is a nice little trick Link can use to utilize the Ball and Chain to its fullest: If he stands close enough, it will attack twice: one more time when pulling it back towards himself. This is great because not many enemies are good at protecting their backs. It will defeat enemies like [[Dinolfos]] in just one hit.
