The Armos Knight makes its debut in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past|A Link to the Past]]''. Armos Knights are the boss of the [[Eastern Palace (A Link to the Past)|Eastern Palace]], the first dungeon of the game. They also later appear as a mini-boss in [[Ganon's Tower (A Link to the Past)|Ganon's Tower]].

Armos Knights first appear in the [[Tower of the Gods]] and later are found within the [[Wind Temple (The Wind Waker)|Wind Temple]]. They appear as giant stone statues with spikes at their base, and hop around trying to hit [[Link (The Wind Waker)|Link]]. Every once and while, the Armos Knight will open its mouth. To defeat the knight, Link must throw a bomb into their open mouth. Once it explodes, the Armos Knight hops around madly for a short time, trying to crush Link, before finally exploding.
