| This man is an expert locksmith and ex-thief who is found near the entrance to the Desert of Mystery in the Southwestern corner of the Light World. He has black hair and a mustache and wears a yellow long-sleeved shirt with light red overalls. He sits next to a sign that tells people who see him to ignore him and to leave him alone. If Link attempts to speak to him he refuses and if Link picks up his sign, the man will follow him around annoyed by what he did.

| He warms up to Link later on when he sees him carrying around a treasure chest that has the key to it locked inside. He picks the lock on the chest which gives Link access to the Magic Bottle that is found inside. In return, he makes Link promise not to tell anyone who he really is and everytime he speaks to the Hero afterwards, he reminds him of his promise. He is last seen during the ending behind the Desert Palace using his lockpicking skills to open some treasure chests.
