They encountered one another at Windfall Island. He accompanies Link in that form throughout the whole game. He gives various advice to help Link in his journey. | ||
Daphnes first reveals himself in his Hylian form when he awakens Tetra as Princess Zelda. He appears again at the end of the game, just before the final battle between Link and Ganondorf. He touches the Triforce before Ganondorf can reach it and uses its power to wish for Hyrule to be drowned beneath the waves, sealed forever, and the children to have hope. After Link defeats Ganondorf, Daphnes appears to Link and Zelda saying how he regrets what has happened in his past. He tells Link and Zelda that they must find hope and to walk the path of hope through the darkness that will come. He asks for forgiveness and says goodbye to Link and Zelda, drowning Hyrule with him and sending Link and Zelda to the world above. | Daphnes first reveals himself in his Hylian form when he awakens Tetra as Princess Zelda.
