...which pretty much puts the Couple's Mask on the same level as the Mask of Scents or the Circus Leader Mask. Yes, the story of Anju and Kafei is beautifully told, but VembersWind's point that the reward isn't quite what he expected still stands.
I was disappointed by Knights of the Old Republic 2. Like its predecessor, it had several opportunities for you to follow either the light or the dark side of the force. But whereas the first game had different endings based on your choices (well, based on one choice near the ending, but if you consistently followed one side, that didn't matter), the second one just kinda fell apart at the end. The studio was rushing the game to the shelves for some arbitrary deadline, and as a result, not all of the subplots get wrapped up, and the ending sequence for female light side, male light side, female dark side and male dark side are pretty much identical. There's a fan patch for the PC version that improves the game a lot, but I've got the Xbox version, so that didn't help me very much.
