WW-Wii U Gamepad or Pro Controller?

For the past few months now, I have noticed myself that I am quite comfortable with the Wii U Gamepad and actually prefer it now than the Pro Controller at this point in time. It's probably perhaps due to the fact that I can enjoy going online or playing games using just the Gamepad. Both the Gamepad and the Pro Controller are comfortable in their own rights, and even though I will see myself using the Pro Controller over the Gamepad for Smash 4, the Gamepad is very nice on current games such as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, New Super Mario Bros. U, and my personal favorite, Mega Man X!a

I really like the Gamepad. It does have its pros and cons, but the best pro is you don't have to pause the game left and right to switch items like you do on the pro controller.

I haven't used the Pro Controller, but I don't think I would want to with a game like The Wind Waker. Having everything on the bottom screen makes things so much more convenient! Of course, I don't really know how it works when you use the Pro Controller -- maybe things change, I don't know. But I love the fact that in this version, the map is on the bottom screen, so you can watch as you travel across the map and don't have to pause NEARLY as much. And item equipping is much easier too, and reading Tingle Bottles on the bottom screen gives you something to do while you're sailing to a new location, haha.

Plus, you can always switch to the bottom screen if you have to, which is quite often in my house... except that, of course, takes away most of the convenience, so I try to avoid playing for long periods of time when the TV's not available. I'd prefer to wait for when I can have the best experience.

I find I really like the Gamepad. Primarily because your map/inventory is RIGHT THERE. It's so nice/handy.

I prefer Gamepad. Really wish the aiming used the left stick though. <.<

I haven't used either but I think I would prefer the more classic pro controller.
