sadly, i know what you mean. i bought guns 'n roses' "Use Your Illusion" album, and i really only like 3 songs on it. the rest just aren't my style.

that's another thing, like you said, some people only "like" an album because of one or two famous songs on it and because it's more popular. i hate people who say "this album/band is so awesome!" but they've only heard about two of their songs.

true, but it seems that most people usually agree one album is better than the one after it. but it really, it's all up to the listener to decide which is better.

yeah, even my favorite bands can't do that. there are a few that can, like you said, but most in the world can't.

good point, it seems bands have trouble meeting the standards set when they have a really good album.
