yeah, that's true. but i still don't know why people call them the "best band EVAR" to this day, despite the fact that people's tastes in music has changed drastically since then.

i've always thought that too. that style of rock just really doesn't appeal to me. i have NO idea why they were as successful as they were.

yeah, there are WAY too many overrated bands out there, like (in my opinion) metallica or aerosmith.

yeah, i really don't like slower rock songs. i listen to rock because i love my music fast and filled with energy, but thost two songs are still really good.

use your illusion is basically ALL slow songs (with the exception of their cover of live and let die) there are some slow songs on it that i love like don't cry and november rain, but i mostly don't like gnr's slower songs.
