Water Octoroks can be found in rivers and lakes, which can be spotted by a small plant poking out of the water, which they hide beneath. If they spot Link, they will jump out of the water and fire a rock towards him at incredible speed, and with a high accuracy. The best way to defeat them is to wait until they jump out of the water, then loosing an arrow into them. They only have 8 HP so most bows will be able to take them out in one shot. Upon death they may drop an assortment of Octorok items, as well as some fish. | |||
They are the most common, visible and highly vulnerable Octoroks in the base game since they can be easily killed with well-placed arrows while they're underwater, as other types of Octoroks protect themselves by burying themselves underground. During rainy conditions, these Octoroks float in the air above water. Only [[Sky Octorok]]s are more vulnerable, though those are only available in the [[Master Mode]] DLC. | They are the most common, visible and highly vulnerable Octoroks in the base game since they can be easily killed with well-placed arrows while they're underwater, as other types of Octoroks protect themselves by burying themselves underground.
