As you run up, the Helmaroc King will try to attack you by poking its beak and attempting to break the stairs. Be wary of extra enemies like [[Bokoblins]] as well. You should roll to avoid falling where the bird might attack, as well as using your [[Grappling Hook]] to latch onto any poles. As you near the top, the bird will stand in your way. When he presents his head, hit it with your [[Skull Hammer]] and break his helm. Climb up to the top of the Fortress to only find out half the battle is over. In the 2nd stage, the Helmaroc King will fly around; it is important to look around to see where he is.
