Temple of Time: Difference between revisions

The '''Temple of Time''' is a recurring location in [[The Legend of Zelda (Series)|''The Legend of Zelda'' series]]. Constructed in the same place as the [[Temple of Light]] in the [[Sacred Realm]], it was created to keep evil beings from touching the [[Master Sword]], the gateway to the realm. The Temple itself was built around the [[Pedestal of Time]] in which the Master Sword is embedded.

The Temple of Time in ''Ocarina of Time'' is located in the northeastern section of the [[Castle Town|Hyrule Castle Town]] [[Market]].

It also contains a [[Triforce Pedestal]], which can be [[warp]]ed to once [[Sheik]] teaches Link the [[Prelude of Light]].

The Temple of Time appears as a dungeon and a location in ''Twilight Princess''. This dungeon is located deep within the [[Sacred Grove]]. During Link's second visit, he will be able to explore a new area. This area is above the original area where Link had to previously solve the puzzle. There will be a door with a [[Sacred Grove Guardians]] blocking the entrance. Link will have to thrust the Master Sword back into its original pedestal to remove the guardian. This will make the door and entrance to the Temple of Time accessible.  

This Temple is crawling with enemies. The mini-boss for the Temple of Time is a [[Darknut]]; an enemy engulfed in dark armor carrying a large sword and shield. Once Link vanquishes it, he is rewarded with the dungeon item, the [[Dominion Rod]]. The boss of the Temple of Time is [[Armogohma]]; an incredibly oversized arachnid with a large eye accompanied by several smaller ones. Once Link conquers this boss, he is rewarded with a [[Heart Container]] and the third [[Mirror Shard]].

In ''Skyward Sword'', an earlier incarnation of the Temple of Time - predating even the Master Sword - is located in [[Lanayru Desert]]. An open-air temple with a [[Gate of Time]], Link chases [[Impa]] and Zelda there, but the reunion is interrupted by [[Ghirahim]]. The two women flee to the past through the Gate and destroy it behind them, but not before Zelda bestows the [[Goddess's Harp]] to Link.{{Clear}}
