The Soldier's Helm is a helm found in Breath of the Wild. It has a base defense of 4, and can be bought from the Ventest Clothing Boutique in Hateno Village for 180 Rupees. The headgear is mainly comprised of metal, meaning it will act as a lightning-rod during a thunderstorm, so Link should be wary during this type of weather.

The Soldier's Helm is available from the start of the game, though Link does not don it by default.

section
The Soldier's Helm is found deep in the Royal Hidden Passage. It is found in a Treasure Chest that is beyond several walls that are buried in boulders, in a room blocked by dark breakable walls in the room containing a Stalnox. In order to reach this passage, Link will first need to have completed one of the major dungeons in Hyrule. The walls cannot be taken out by explosives, and thus must be broken by throwing a weapon capable of breaking destructible rocks at them, as there is water directly in front of the breakable walls, preventing melee attacks from breaking the walls initially.
