You can also use Stasis as the ball is about to roll over the edge into the abyss and knock it (gently! one hit) into the socket. As above, use Cryonis to move the ball out from its pillar, run down to the base (you should be able to do this while dashing) and use stasis just as the ball moves off the water but before it falls over the edge. Tap it in with a melee weapon (one hit ought to do it. Two if necessary). | |||
