'''Marin and Tarin's House''' is a location in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening|Link's Awakening]]''. Found near the center of [[Mabe Village]], it is the home of [[Tarin]] and his daughter, [[Marin]]. When [[Link]] washes up on the [[Toronbo Shores|shores]] of [[Koholint Island]], he first awakens in their home. He initially mistakes Marin for [[Zelda]], and then she explains what happened.{{Ref|LA|34|Marin}}{{Ref|LA|35|Marin}} Tarin gives him his [[shield]] here.{{Ref|LA|114|Tarin}} In the bottom left corner of the room, there are two pots that, when lifted, always reveal [[Recovery Heart]]s. There is also a chest in the northeast and two beds, likely for the house's two occupants.{{Ref|LA|20|In-Game Description}} Throughout most of the much of the game, Tarin is found sleeping in the bed. Otherwise, the house remains rather empty.
