Probably the most strange looking creature of the Zelda series, the Like-Like is best described as a large rubber hose with a grotesque skin colored texture. Like-Likes enjoy feasting on shields. They have appeared, in some shape or form, in every Zelda game so far.

Like likes come in two different types: the basic like-like and rupee like like
Like Likes are an enemy featured most prominently in the 3D Zelda titles, first introduced in OOT}}. They attempt to suck up Link and will eat any unique equipment he is holding, such as tunics and shields. On their death, Link's equipment is returned.

Rupee Like
These creatures look like a large rubber hose and can easily shallow link whole. While Link is being digested, Link cannot attack or move.
Rupee Likes will suck Rupees from Link until he manages to escape. Upon their death, they drop as many rupees as they stole from him.
