Lakebed Temple: Difference between revisions

The Mini-Boss of the Lakebed Temple is known as the Deku Toad. Hence the name, it is a large toad that lives inside the Lakebed Temple. It guards the Dungeon Item of the Lakebed Temple, the Clawshot, and seeing how Link requires the Clawshot to complete the dungeon, the Deku Toad must be defeated. Upon entrance to the room where the Deku Toad lies, Link finds the room to be, at first, empty. However, after looking around for a clue on how to continue moving forward, he spots the Deku Toad on the ceiling. The Deku Toad then proceeds to fall down to the ground and begin the battle. The battle area is a simple circle-shaped room filled with shallow water. The Deku Toad's main form of attack is to give birth to numerous [[Toado]]s, which attack the young hero. Link can defeat all of the offspring with his [[Sword]]. Once the Deku Toad exposes his tongue, Link can slash away at it, and eventually strike it with the [[Hidden Skills#Ending Blow|Ending Blow]], defeating the Deku Toad once and for all. As it dies, it spits out a chest, in a fairly disgusting manor. Inside the [[Treasure Chest|chest]] lies the Dungeon Item of the Lakebed Temple, the Clawshot.{{Ref|name=ClawshotTC}}

The [[Boss]] of the Lakebed Temple is known as the Twilit Aquatic: Morpheel.{{Ref|name=MorpheelTC}} It is a large sea-serpent type enemy with scales as hard as rock for skin.{{Ref|''Morpheel Twilight Princess Trading Card''|It is a massive eel-like creature with a single eye.|Card Description}} As can be expected with ''Twilight Princess'' bosses, the weak spot of Morpheel is an eye that has a nice little spot on the top of its head. The battle takes place in a large cylinder room that is completely underwater, so wearing the Zora Armor is a must.{{Ref|''Morpheel Twilight Princess Trading Card''|Link must confront this creature underwater, so swimming skills are a must.|Card Description}} Link must attack the eye with his sword a number of times.{{Ref|''Morpheel Twilight Princess Trading Card''|To defeat Morpheel, Link must attack his eyeball, which is surrounded by numerous tentacles waiting to suck the life out of him.|Card Description}} Once he has done enough damage, he can perform the Ending Blow on it, killing Morpheel. Morpheel then goes into a frenzy, smashing into all the pillars that surround the area. It then collides into one of the side walls, creating a hole into which all the water in the area escapes through. Morpheel then explodes, and its remains come together and become the final Fused Shadow.{{Ref|name=MorpheelTC2}}
