-Fokkerus are protectors of the [[Great Palace]]. They are dancing birds that breath fire. They slowly walk back and forth, while hopping up and down. They attack by spiting fireballs at [[Link]] that deals high damage. The fireball travels forward in an arc, landing on the floor and continuing to move for a short distance. These fireballs or flames can only be blocked with the [[Reflect Spell]]. They are hard to avoid, so it may be easier to defeat them instead. The [[Shield Spell]] works well against these foes.

Though unlike Guma, the fireballs Fokkeru fire remain on the ground once they land. Once Link has maneuvered inside the arc of the projectiles, they will begin traveling backwards, often trapping him between the fire and the monster. The best method to defeat them is to press forward, and drive the Fokkeru back to keep distance between Link and the approaching fire.
