The cave was blocked by [[Ganon|Ganondorf]] after the leader of the [[Goron]]s, [[Darunia]], refused to give the King of Evil the [[Goron's Ruby|Spiritual Stone of Fire]]. These events caused the Goron poulation to starve, due to the fact that the gourmet rocks present in the cavern were the primary source of a Goron's food. [[Darunia]] gives [[Link]] the [[Goron's Bracelet]], after was calmed down by Link. The Bracelet gives Link the ability to destroy the rock blocking the entrance with [[Bomb Flower]]s. After defeating the boss [[Dodongo]] he is rewarded with the Goron's Ruby by Darunia. They also become sworn brothers.
