Given the circumstance that one wants to continue the puzzle after falling into the chasm, in order to activate the elevating platform in said room, one can send a bomb floating with [[Octo Balloon]]s attached to it up the chasm, and blow it up once it reaches the top, activating said platform's on/off switch.

===Common Mistakes===
* After obtaining the electric cube, in which the power cable has to be activated throughout for the platform to move across, the player may be led to believe that in order to reach the altar, the long chain across has to be activated throughout in the same manner. This is not the case, as the start of the chain has a placeholder for it to be activated. Using the placeholder is the final step the player makes with the electric cube.
* Due to the distance between the penultimate tower and the altar, there's no discernible way to realize how far one can push the final giant metal block, which can lead the player to assume that the cube will block the platform's movement to the shrine, even after pushing it through [[Magnesis]].
