Hyrule Warriors
In Hyrule Warriors, the Boomerang is a sub-weapon that can be unlocked through Legend Mode. The Boomerang functions like it does in other Zelda games, stunning enemies and being a key weapon against Manhandla. If Link picks up a power-up for the Boomerang, it becomes the Gale Boomerang, sending out tornados that stun multiple enemies.

===A Link Between Worlds
In A Link Between Worlds, the Boomerang is a rentable, and later buyable, item that can be found at any point f the game after The Eastern Palace in Ravio's Shop. It can be used to stun enemies, cut grass, grab items, and flip switches, similarly to most other Zelda games. After it is purchased for 800 rupees, it can be upgraded by Mother Maiamai by collecting ten baby Maiamais. This turns it into the "Nice Boomerang", which funcions the same, but with increased speed, and a triple throw.
